Kate McCarthy, national glominerals makeup artist
Kate McCarthy has been working in the beauty industry for 6 years. Her love of art in all forms has fed her passion for seeing the beauty in everyone and everything. After obtaining a BA in Film and Theatre arts from Montana State University in Bozeman, Kate headed to Los Angeles. While in LA, Kate sharpened her artistry at MKC Beauty Academy. During her three year stay in LA Kate worked on films, television productions, fashion week and celebrity photo shoots. She also spent time aiding in event planning at the Director’s Guild of America, where she was able to learn industry etiquette, which she applies to her work each day.
While Los Angeles provided ample work and opportunities, Kate decided to move back home to Denver, Colorado to be on the front line of bringing Denver’s beauty and entertainment industry into the spotlight. Kate constantly looks forward to the growth of the beauty industry and loves being a part of glōProfessional.

Jenny Van Tuinen, national glominerals makeup artist
Jenny’s path to makeup artistry began more than seven years ago at the Smashbox counter at Nordstrom where she developed a reputation for flawless makeup application.
Her journey continued as a freelance artist in Kansas City, Nashville, Los Angeles and now Denver.
Jenny’s professional attention to detail and belief in the “beauty within” has enabled her to touch many famous faces while building a high profile clientele.
Her work has been featured on the runway as well as in magazines, and television. Some of which include: Rolling Stone Magazine, US Weekly, Elle, HBO, ESPN, Lifetime, Hallmark Magazine and O Magazine. Her strong ambition has led her to work alongside some of the biggest names in makeup including Armani, Shu Uemura, Benefit and YSL. She has more recently become known for her role as National Makeup Artist for glominerals.
